It is based on the ISO 9001 standard but includes additional requirements that address the rigorous demands of aviation, space, and defense sectors. This certification emphasizes risk management, product safety, and strict control over processes, ensuring that aerospace products are safe, reliable, and meet both customer and regulatory requirements.

In Europe, our sites in Consett (UK), Paris (FR), Lyon (FR), and Toulouse (FR) adhere to this high standard. In the Americas, our Greensboro (NC) facility is also certified under AS/EN 9100.

Unlike general quality management certifications, NADCAP specifically targets critical processes such as coating, heat treating, welding, and more, ensuring that these processes meet the stringent standards required by the aerospace and defense sectors. The program is administered by the Performance Review Institute (PRI) and is endorsed by major aerospace and defense contractors.
