Se pueden utilizar varios recubrimientos rígidos Medthin™ para la codificación de colores

Los recubrimientos Medthin mejoran la dureza y brindan resistencia a los arañazos y químicos al tiempo que inhiben la proliferación bacteriana en la superficie de los instrumentos. Medthin™ 10 TiCN is deposited at temperatures between 150°C and 450°C. The wide range of temperatures allows for a variety of materials to be coated by means of adapting the deposition temperatures to suit the substrate materials without impacting geometries.

Medthin™ 43 ADLC is a dual layer coating with a SiC base layer followed by top  DLC (carbon) layer. The two layers confer to Medthin™ 43 ADLC extreme smoothness, high density and hardness.
