Production Supervisor
The Production Supervisor is a key hands-on position with responsibility for managing a diverse team of production employees in a PVD coating operation. The primary goal of this position is to provide the best service to customers by optimizing production schedules, properly organizing staff and improving workflow. The best service is achieved by our people and therefore this key position has an important role to support, lead, train and inspire the production team. High quality, safety, compliance, on-time delivery and customer satisfaction ensure that the correct Ionbond™ family of coatings and services are applied. This position reports directly to the Production Manager.
What do we ask?
- Oversee daily production staff and processes under the direction of the Plant Manager, ensuring all PVD operations are completed safely, efficiently, and to customer specifications
- Coordinate and schedule customer orders using ERP system to support on-site and accurate production flow.
- Maintain and promote a safe working environment by supporting and upholding all safety policies and procedures.
- Assist the Plant Manager with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training production employees.
Support employees’ development by helping identify team members for advancement and fostering a respectful, collaborative work environment.
Contribute to continuous improvement by recommending and implementing value-adding strategies and operational efficiencies.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace by promoting 5S initiatives and other continuous improvement
- Compile, evaluate, and report on production records to support planning, performance improvement, and quality standards.

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a candidate with:
The preferred candidate will have earned a degree from an accredited college
High School diploma is required minimum education.
Three to five years’ experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment with supervisory and production planning experience.
Possess outstanding leadership skills and the ability to motivate others to go above and beyond to meet or exceed customer expectations
Experience working with ERP systems is required, experience with MS Business Central
Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
Problem-solving, team management, quality control, safety knowledge, and process improvement are all essential to guide teams, optimize production, and meet goals efficiently and safely
Proficient in basic office tools such as the MS Office, internet, PCs, email, etc. is required.
Candidate must be eligible to work in the United States, undergo criminal background check, and pass a pre-placement physical.
