Ionbond exhibit at Farnborough International Airshow in the UK
Join Hauzer, Bernex and Ionbond in Farnborough in July!
At Ionbond, we cannot wait to participate in one of the world’s biggest aerospace events, the Farnborough International Airshow (FIA) in the UK. We would love to talk to aerospace manufacturers about the many benefits of Ionbond’s portfolio of physical and chemical vapor deposition (PVD and CVD) and plasma-assisted CVD (PACVD) coatings. Whether your goal is to extend maintenance cycles, increase component lifetime, improve performance or solve a unique challenge, we are happy to develop a solution for you.
For such an important aerospace fair, we’re also bringing some extra clout: we are sharing a booth with Hauzer and Bernex, builders of the PVD and CVD machines we use. Come find us at FIA from 18-22 June to get our joint expertise about your application.
Building on more than 30 years of experience in the aerospace sector
Ionbond is no newcomer to the aerospace industry. For over 30 years, we have helped customers in the aerospace sector reach their component performance goals with our PVD, CVD and PACVD coatings – from bearings and actuators of aircraft to turbine blades of jet engines. Our facilities in Consett (UK), Chassieu (FR) and Greensboro (US) have the ISO 9001 and AS 9100 certifications and are certified to produce coatings for Airbus aircraft. The Consett facility has even reached the NADCAP Merit Status.
Broad coating portfolio and excellent service standards
Ionbond coatings enhance performance, decrease operation costs and extend maintenance cycles. In the aerospace market, our Tribobond™ 40 and Tribobond™ 01 coatings are among the most used for their low friction and high fretting wear resistance. Our Hardcut™ Plus and Tetrabond™ Plus tool coatings are very popular for cutting tools for aerospace and defense manufacturing. They improve tool performance in dry and wet machining of abrasive of otherwise difficult-to-cut materials.
Ionbond facilities offer a wide range of coating machinery, including a coating system that can coat components up to 150 cm long and 3D printing facilities for quick prototyping. Our engineers are always looking for the next customization and development challenge. And of course, we offer excellent turnaround time and offer an optional fast-service delivery.
Would you like to know more about what Ionbond can do for you? Or about our aerospace certification and quality standards? Please do not hesitate to visit our booth 4230 in hall 4 at Farnborough International Airshow and visit our Aerospace Section on the website.
