Logistics Administrative Employee

In the logistics department you have to deal with all other departments within Ionbond Netherlands. This department also regularly organizes transports for coating centers in the Czech Republic, Mexico, the USA and China. The logistics team is an important link in the production process.

Every day and every shipment is different because of our very diverse customer base and the variety of the products sent from customers. As a result of growth in our organization, we are looking for an administrative employee who is motivated to “build” with this team. This is not an ordinary office job, but a very dynamic position in which you alternate administrative tasks with logistics activities.

The logistics team has 7 employees. This team is the first in line and the last in line and therefore an indispensable link. For the inbound activities, the internal customers need to be informed so that the production can start on time. Your colleagues in the warehouse check the goods and coordinate details with you. You monitor delivery times and coordinate when there are deviations. As soon as the goods are ready for shipment, you take action again and inform the external customer via tracking details and packing lists.

What defines this job?

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills; you continuously coordinate with internal and external customers. You quickly switch between different tasks. Together with the team you put effort in the “just in time deliveries”. In addition, you have:

  • Good knowledge of logistics processes obtained from study and/or work experience, preferably in an international organization.
  • Experience with transport systems and you are familiar with the MS Office package.
  • Teamwork and customer focus as most important personal skill.
  • Knowledge of the English language is a must, German and Dutch is a plus.

A salary in job family 2A (Administrative).

Depending on knowledge and experience you will be classified in salary group 4, 5 or 6. Salaries are between € 2.829,- and € 3.200,- gross per month

25 vacation days and 13 ADV days

on a full-time basis

Who are we looking for?

The candidate we are looking for is aware that the last shipment does not always leave the company before 17:00 and is flexible with regard to working hours.
