What is Plasma Nitriding?

Plasma nitriding is a highly reproducible nitriding method that offers precise treatment results with close tolerances. It is more environmentally friendly than traditional gas nitriding and provides lower surface roughness compared to bath and powder nitriding. Additionally, optimized process control in plasma nitriding can reduce the thickness of the compound layer, enhancing adhesion properties.
