Medthin™ 60 ZrN

ZrN coating for medical instruments

Medthin 60 ZrN, has light gold colour, features very good wear resistance, low stress, high adhesion and an excellent chemical barrier function. It is an alternative to Medthin01 TiN, has superior adhesion to the substrate materials with good chemical stability when undergoing several cleaning and sterilization cycles, which makes it an ideal coating for medical instruments. The coating  is deposited at temperatures between 150°C and 500°C depending on the application and base material.
