Account Manager

Ionbond is looking for an energetic, professional sales person with a proven sales track record in strategic account management and new business development.  This individual will generate sales leads to expand and manage new and existing sales in cutting tools, forming tool components, deco & sports and medical tooling by supporting and developing a diverse range of markets and industries within a predefined geographic region.

Your Position:

  • Manage and support new and existing accounts in the territory to maximize revenue
  • Establish new business by leveraging existing accounts and personal contacts
  • Develop new business, cold calling, networking and follow up on leads to meet our growth agenda
  • Develop customer loyalty by building strong sustainable relationships
  • Strategic Account Management (proven sales track record w/continuous growth)
  • Deliver sales goals while respecting expense budgets and company policies
  • Provide reports to the National Sales Manager on prospects, pipeline and monthly volume forecasts
  • Build commitment with existing/potential customers to employ a long-term relationship for projects
  • Support tradeshows and conferences within the industry & territory

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience may be substitute
  • Direct sales experience of 3 – 5 years (business to business, industrial, tooling or medical industry)
  • Strategic Sales & Account Management experience
  • Strong Communication Skills (verbal and writing)
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong customer relationships
  • Strong work ethic, demonstrating a commitment to details, organization & time management skills
  • Strong critical and analytical thinking skills. 
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Resides in the assigned territory
  • 50-75% traveling
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis
